While the selection of games is somewhat limited, Netflix says, “We’re excited to continue improving our mobile gaming experience and adding to our entertainment offering in the months ahead.” That means there will be other stuff to play in the future, but we’ll have to wait. We’re in the early days of creating a great gaming experience, and we’re excited to take you on this journey with us.” In a blog post formally announcing the arrival of mobile games, Netflix said, “Whether you’re craving a casual game you can start from scratch or an immersive experience that lets you dig deeper into your favorite stories, we want to begin to build a library of games that offers something for everyone. Finally, developers Amuzo and Rogue Games teamed up to create Card Blast. Frosty Pop created Shooting Hoops and Teeter Up. BonusXP made Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3: The Game. In total, there are five games available from four different developers. Still, the company has a pretty solid set of games ready for day one, including a couple of Stranger Things games that should make fans of the show happy. Netflix is currently pushing a bunch of mobile games to its platform, so if you were expecting to play console games or anything of that sort, you’re going to be disappointed.
